A 2-a parte a testului monitorizează capcane SNMP de la aparat (sistemul trebuie să fie configurat pentru a primi capcane de la aparat). În timp ce monitorizarea se execută, declanșa unele evenimente, de exemplu conectare și deconectare a liniei Internet și a vedea dacă aceste evenimente sunt raportate în aplicare.
