Virtual Router este un router gratuit, bazat pe software open source, pentru PC-urile care rulează Windows 8, Windows 7 sau Windows Server 2008 R2. Folosind Virtual Router, utilizatorii pot partaja wireless orice conexiune la internet (Wifi, LAN, Modemul de cablu, Dial-up, Cellular etc.) cu orice dispozitiv Wifi (Laptop, Smart Phone, iPod Touch, iPhone, imprimantă fără fir etc.) Aceste dispozitive se conectează la Virtual Router la fel ca orice alt punct de acces și conexiunea este complet securizată utilizând WPA2 (cea mai sigură criptare wireless).

Spre deosebire de aplicații similare, Virtual Router nu este numai complet gratuit, dar nu vă va deranja cu nici o reclama. De asemenea, deoarece Virtual Router nu este acceptat de anunțuri, acesta nu urmărește traficul dvs. web așa cum fac / pot alte aplicații acceptate de anunțuri.
