Serial Port Mapper vă permite să hartă orice porturi seriale la orice alte porturi seriale. De exemplu, instalarea suplimentară card de expansiune port serial la calculator ca port serial COM7 dar software-ul preferat poate lucra doar cu porturile COM1 ... COM4. Pentru a rezolva această problemă, puteți utiliza Serial Port Mapper pentru a mapa nou portul COM7 fie la COM1 sau COM2 ... COM4. Acum, software-ul poate deschide portul COM1 (sau COM2 ... COM4), dar lucra de fapt cu nou port COM7. Configurare prin linie de comandă interfață este de asemenea disponibil.
