Acesta utilizează o procedură iterativ și interactiv, în scopul de a optimiza acele culori pe care le judeca cel mai important. PaletteMaker este flexibil și atinge de înaltă calitate. PaletteMaker știe despre particularitățile de Windows Palette Manager și ia modelul de percepția umană în considerare. PaletteMaker combină generație paleta cu dithering într-un mod care optimizează paleta de prezența a oscila.
